Accessibility statement

WD Assist Ltd wants everyone to be able to use this website. We work to WCAG 2.2 level AA and check the site against it with automated tests and manual checks.

What we have done

  • Every page has one main landmark, a skip link, a logical heading order and a language attribute.
  • The site can be zoomed to 400% and reflows at 320 pixels wide without horizontal scrolling.
  • Text and links meet the 4.5:1 contrast minimum, links inside text are underlined, and every control shows a visible keyboard focus.
  • Every form field has a visible label; errors are announced and described in text. The AMS health check moves focus to each step and to your results.
  • The client-logo strip can be paused, and motion stops when your device asks for reduced motion.
  • The cookie banner has two equally weighted choices and can be reopened from the footer.

What we are still working on

  • A full manual walk-through with screen readers (NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver) on every page, including the booking calendar.
  • The reCAPTCHA check on the contact form and booking step depends on Google’s audio alternative; if it stops you, email or call us instead.
  • The booking calendar comes from our booking service; its date grid is keyboard operable, and we are reviewing how screen readers announce available dates.

Tell us about a problem

If any part of the site is hard to use, email enquiries@wdassist.com or call +44 1372 502341 and we will provide the content another way and fix the page. This statement was prepared on 27 September 2026 after automated review with axe-core and manual keyboard checks. We update it when we make changes.
